Cate and Zapf Vote to Approve Homeless Housing Navigation Center
On November 13, 2018, the City Council voted on the Mayor’s proposed Housing Navigation Center. The Coalition issued a letter to City Council stating it was not time to approve a project that would not be able to direct anyone to housing. Chris Cate (D6) and Lorie Zapf (D2) voted to approve the contract.
Resolution to Build 140 Permanent Supportive Housing Units in Each Council District
October 23, 2018. The San Diego City Council, including Clairemont Council Members Chris Cate (D6) and Lorie Zapf (D2), passed a resolution to build 140 units of permanent supportive housing for the homeless in each council district.
